In an attempt to get into some Short positions I just sold 10 Crowdstrike (CRWD) Naked Calls.
With the stock at $171.25, up $4 on the day, I sold 10 CRWD 12/11/20 $180 Naked Calls for a premium of $1.35 for $1350.
Sell to Open 10 CRWD 12/11/20 $180.00 C @ $1.35 (+$1350)
This is a very good stock and it’s up $4 as I write, but I saw that there was some heavy insider selling last week. I think there can be a pull back but I went out on the Strike Price for some safety. It is a very good stock so this Naked Call gets a Risk Factor 4. Clearly I want the stock to stay away from $180 per share. If it gets close by Friday I’ll buy the shares to cover my Call. I’ll be watching!
