Hi. Generally speaking (based on your experience) when do you think is the best time to take a profit (and sell) after a split?
Hi Diane,
As I wrote, I know this split will not be like the Apple and Tesla splits. I bought 2 contracts and might buy more. I’ll be watching the movement of the stock the next few weeks. Sometimes there’s a big jump and a pullback between the announcement and the split. And sometimes I get out and back in. But with this one I might hold straight through the split because I don’t think the volatility will be there like with Apple and Tesla. If I hold to the split I’ll be selling the day of the split. Which is Oct 27th.
