I bought 100 shares of Square (SQ) way back on Sept 7, 2017. Today I sold those shares.
Almost 2 years ago I bought 100 shares of SQ at $26.30. I bought these shares to be held in my gift account. In an attempt to free up some cash to get back into my trading, today I sold these shares. I bought a bunch of 100 share holdings while I was coaching basketball. I did this to hold stock I believed in to make money while my trading was idle because of a lack of time. I’ve been selling some of these shares to build available cash in my trading account. The buying of SQ worked out for me. I bought the 100 shares at $26.30 and I just sold them for $65.15. That’s a gain of $3885. I well over doubled my money is less than 2 years.
9/7/17 – Buy 100 Shares SQ @ $26.30
6/5/19 – Sell 100 Shares SQ @ $65.15
Profit +$3885
I also entered a trade to sell some Calls on AMD but as of this post I didn’t get filled on that order. I’ll let you know as soon as I do.
