I just got back home from my shoulder PT. Before I left I placed an order to sell 1 contract of the RH 8/17/18, $152.50 Call. I was looking for a $2 premium. I also placed an order to sell 1 contract of the 8/17/18, $150 Call for a $3 premium. I figured the first one that was filled I would except for the Covered Call against my 100 shares I bought this morning. The problem is, while I was away from my computer, both of the Calls were filled. So now I have 1 contract Covered Call and I also have a 1 contract Naked Call. Not a big deal! I’ll be buying another 100 shares of the stock and I’ll have (2) 1 contract Covered Calls.
Sell to Open 1 RH 8/17/18 $150.00 C @ $3.00 (+$300)
Sell to Open 1 RH 8/17/18 $152.50 C @ $2.00 (+$200)
I’ll let you know when I buy the other 100 shares and what I paid.
Also, on 7/31/18 I bought 1000 shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) at $19. With the stock moving today I decide to jump out with a nice profit. I put in an order to sell the shares for $19.80 but as I pushed the button the stocked moved a little and I got filled at $19.81. The penny might not look like much but that 1 penny on the 1000 shares is $10 and it covers my commission. I’ll take it lol!
7/31/8 – Buy 1000 Shares AMD @ $19.00
8/13/18 – Sell 1000 Shares AMD @ $19.81
Profit +$810
Not a bad start to the week!
