After 4 Days in Rome I’m writing from beautiful Positano on the Amalfi Coast. I’m on vacation so I’m not trading much. I did have one option expire this past Friday. I own 1000 shares of Facebook and I had 10 contracts of the $120 Calls sold against the shares. The stock never hit the $120 mark so Friday the option expired worthless. The premium was $.50 ($500) and I get to put this money in my mattress. Here’s the sale order and the expiration form:
Sell to Open 10 FB 6/3/16 $120 C @ $.50 (+$500)
6/3/16 – Expired 10 FB 6/3/16 $120 C
Profit +$500
Total weekly profit $500
Not bad grabbing a little cash while on vacation!
On Friday I sold 10 more of the FB 6/10/16 $120 Calls. I only own 1000 shares of FB so until the Calls above expired these new Calls were Naked, but now that the first set of Call expired the new Calls are Covered. These new Calls brought in a premium of $.71 ($710). Let’s watch and see if I get to put a little more in the mattress. It would be nice if I could get my vacation paid for while I’m still on vacation. Caio for now!

Welcome aboard Bob! If you study, start slow and be very disciplined you can do very well. If you’re a gambler, you will get hurt. I am in Italy right now enjoying the benefits of my trading. I’ll be home in a few days and we can get to work. This is my passion! As you know my site is completely free. If you get into this and put in your time I will mentor you to help prevent you from getting burned.
