On March 3rd I bought 1 Call contract of Berkshire Hathaway B (BRK/B). Yesterday the fund was up and I put in a sell order. I had to leave my computer and later I saw I was filled on that order. I bought the Call for $35 and I sold for $46 for a profit of $1100. This is a return on Investment (ROI) of 31.4% in a little over 2 weeks.
3/3/25 – Buy to Open 1 BRK/B 9/19/25 $510.00 C @ $35.00
3/20/25 – Sell top Close 1 BRK/B 9/19/25 $510.00 C @ $46.00
Profit +$1100
If this fund pulls back a little I will be right back in. The question is why did I sell if I wanted to continue to own this position? The answer is I do want to still own but I wanted to move my Expiration Date out a little further. The next Call will have an Expiration Date of January 2026.
