PLTR Covered Call and Bought 2 Calls

This morning at the open I bought 200 shares of Palantir (PLTR) at $77.41. The stock opened strong and I thought it was gonna fly because it’s going into the NASDAQ 100 Index next Monday. Again, as soon as I bought the stock reversed. I waited all day for the stock to rebound so I could get a Call sold. It didn’t get up to my buy-in price but I got a Call sold that I’m happy with. I sold 2 PLTR 12/20/24 $78.00 Calls for a premium of $1.65 for a total of $330. This is a 2.1% premium.

Sell to Open 2 PLTR 12/20/24 $78.00 C @ $1.65 (+$330)

I also bought a 1 contract Call option on Soundhound AI (SOUN) and a 5 contract Call on Sofi Technologies (SOFI).

 

Buy to Open 1 SOUN 1/17/25 $20.00 C @ $3.65

 

Buy to Open 5 SOFI 1/17/25 $17.00 C @ $1.32
