Results Week Ending 11/8/24
Hi Main Street beats Wall Street readers, I want to apologize for dropping the ball on my posts and not doing a week ending report in a long time. My life is extremely busy but I’m gonna try to get back into my normal routine with the site.
There are a few reasons why my life is so busy; I’ll mention a few here. I started a group called the Hercules Mulligan Society. I know you are saying who the heck is Hercules Mulligan? And that’s precisely why I started it! Mulligan was a spy for General George Washington in the Revolutionary War. George Washington said, “If it was not for Hercules Mulligan there would be no America.” The purpose for the organization is best explained with our mission statement:
To promote and preserve traditions and philosophies of the Founding Fathers, the U.S. Constitution and the forgotten extraordinary events, dates and people paramount to American history.
I believe this country is forgetting about important people, dates and events and are no longer teaching our history in our schools. We at the Hercules Mulligan Society try to bring attention to this fact. Hercules Mulligan is our namesake but also fits into our mission statement. If you want to check us out you can look at our Facebook page.

I am also a Bible reader. I read a few hours a day. Now I started a Bible study which is done by email. I have 37 people on the list. If anyone wants to join this Bible study let me know. A lesson goes out every Tuesday and Friday and the reading takes about 10 minutes. The reading is only 10 minutes but the preparation of the study takes me a lot longer.
These are a couple of items that keep my life busy. Now let’s get into the market.
This week we voted in a new president. This landslide victory is proof that the people of this country are fed up with the direction the country is going. I would like to ask God to bless President Elect Trump and help him make this country and the world a better place.
The first week of the market since the election was a good one. To be fair the last two years were not bad either! I truly feel the next four years of the market can be life changing. I think if you develop a good strategy, not be greedy, work within your risk tolerance and go Slow and Steady, Steady and Slow you can set yourself up with a nice future. I mentioned the last two years being good because the first two years of this presidency were bad. However, in the last two years my account went up $90,700. That’s not bad considering the economy and inflation we are suffering with. I’m gonna get busy with Main Street beats Walls Street and my normal trading habits and am very excited about where the next few years can go. So let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work. Let’s take a look at the week ending 11/8/24.
