Sold MU Calls to Expire Today

I bought 1000 shares of Micron (MU) at $51.75 back on 6/30. Since then I sold a number of Calls bringing in nice premiums. But, the first week of August the stock started down. It went all the way down to $42.40 on 8/21. I have not sold a Call since then. Last week the stock received an upgrade and has been fighting it’s way back to where I bought it. A few minutes ago, with the stock at $51.90, I sold a $52 Call to expire today at the close. I received a 30¢ premium for $300.

 Sell to Open 10 MU 8/18/20 $52.00 C @ 30¢ (+$300)

I sold this Call to expire today because I would like to get assigned and move on from MU. As I write the stock is right at $52. If I get assigned I’ll make an additional $250 on the stock sale. If I don’t get assigned, I hope the stock stays up in the $52 range to get another Call sold for next week. If the stock stays below $52 I might get another Call sold at the close today.
