Criteria for buying stock

For my stock portfolios, the 5 Star Trading Portfolio and the Pillar of Strength Portfolio, I’m looking for the best of the best. We all know that NO stock goes straight up! We know that most stocks have ebbs & flows. At any time, any stock can go down and stay down for a while, even the best company in the world, run by the best manager. This is the stock market! The markets are moved by news, and we all know, in today’s world, the news is plentiful.

Having said that, we all see many people getting rich in the stock market. People who are brilliant at doing the fundamental analysis and finding the correct stocks to invest in. They are not lucky! They put in a lot of work at finding the best companies, run by the best people. Most fund managers and huge investors have a room full of people doing investigating work for them. Well, I too am bent on being successful at finding the best stocks to invest in. I will find the best for long term holdings and shorter term holdings. Stocks that have the best chance to grow with minimal risk over the time held. This will be done with fundamental analysis and technical analysis. Please read my “Stock Analysis” page to see how I will do this. I will save you a lot of time and give you the best “Buy” rating stocks I invest in.

While doing my stock analysis I’ll have a set of stock buying criteria. These will be very strict rules! If I put my “Buy” rating on a stock it will be the best of the best. These stocks will have the best chance of making me a lot of money with the least risk.

Below is a list of my stock buying criteria. It might be close to impossible to find stocks with ALL of my “Stock buying Criteria,” however, I’ll work hard to find the stocks that satisfy most of my criteria or I will not put the stock in a Wealth Builder portfolio. I will only recommend stocks that I buy. If you look at my stock portfolios, I will be invested in all of them.
