Results Week Ending 9/10/21

This report is a bit late. As most of you know I’m a retired NYC firefighter. Saturday was the 20th anniversary of 9/11. It was quite the busy weekend. I spent Saturday at the site with a bunch of firefighters I worked with, in addition to my son, who was promoted to Captain a few months ago.

It was a very tough day, to say the least. All firefighters lost many co-workers and firefighter friends. Living on Staten Island, not only did we lose many firefighters, but many civilians who worked in the towers. Every September 11th is hard, but, for some reason the 20th anniversary made it a lot tougher. As time goes by it doesn’t get easier!

Sometimes you don’t realize how many friends you lost. This year I went into the FDNY museum which has a 9/11 room. This room has all the head shots of the 343 firemen lost that day. When I look at all the pictures it’s unbelievable how many guys I knew personally. Saturday really was a brutal day!

This week was the worst day for the market since June. But it really wasn’t bad for me. If any of you follow Peloton you saw it had a huge week. The stock went up about $18 this week. It gave back a little today but it’s looking a lot better.
